A guardian home is a home that has the opportunity to own one of our breeding dogs without paying the full amount of the puppy. It allows the puppy to live in home with a family or person approved so we can expand our program and give the dog a forever home without a rehoming process once it’s ready to retire!
The guardian home is responsible for taking care of the puppy along with training, grooming needs, vet care with regular vaccinations, heartworm and flea prevention. Also, the guardian home will have to keep in touch and cooperate with us with its breeding needs for our program. Once retired from our breeding prorgam, the puppy gets to live the rest of it’s life with that family. We have both males and female puppies that can be placed in guardian homes.
Health testing and clearances are paid for by our breeding program once the dog is old enough and depending on results will start the process of being used in our breeding program.
The females will have to be allowed to come back to our home for the breeding process and then back a week before her due date to have her puppies and will be returned to their guardian home after puppies are weaned.
The males will be kept for a week at our home for breeding purposes then returned to his guardian home.
Our program will have full rights to the dog while in our program and rights will be given to guardian home once retired from our program.
